Carol Elliott, B.S., OTR/L is the owner of her private practice Pediatric Feeding Services, Inc. and co-owner of the Pediatric Feeding Institute, Inc. She provides in home feeding therapy services for infants through school age children with a wide array of feeding difficulties. She was employed at Children’s Hospital of Richmond @ VCU for 23 years, 19 of which she worked full time in the Children’s Feeding Program. Carol began her career in the field of Occupational Therapy in 1987 after receiving her degree at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA. Since 1998. Carol has devoted her clinical practice to developing and implementing treatment techniques for children with complex feeding disorders including the development of the TR-eat® Model with Elizabeth Clawson, PhD in 2009. Along with her fulltime clinical practice, she co-presents the workshop Mealtime Miseries: Management of Complex Feeding Issues along with other speaking engagements, has published multiple articles, and provides consultative services to other professionals and treatment centers who specialize in pediatric feeding evaluation/treatment.
