Melissa Conti, OTR/L is an occupational therapist who works at an outpatient private practice facility (Child and Family Consultants Inc.) in Melbourne Florida since January 2013. Conti plays an active role in curating and directing prevocational and leisure camps for children with autism spectrum disorder in addition to fundraiser events for the nonprofit group Brevard Autism Coalition. In addition to her community involvement, she had taught dance since 2008 and likes to combine her knowledge of movement with her occupational therapy treatment sessions. She has presented at the Florida Occupational Therapy Association Conference several times on the topics of mental health, community integration, and multidisciplinary approaches. Conti has taken a interest which has developed into a passion for working with individuals with feeding difficulties (motor, sensory, and psychosocial aspects of feeding routines).
