Mary Billings, MS, CCC-SLP, COM®

Mary Billings, MS, CCC, COM® is an ASHA Certified speech language pathologist and IAOM Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®). She founded Billings Speech Pathology Services in 1994. She is a member of the Oral Motor Institute Board of Directors, and is a past President of the International Association of Orofacial Myology where she worked diligently to expand awareness regarding the demand for clinical expertise in practice. She has served as an IAOM accredited instructor since 2013. The collaborative course she teaches “Make the Connection” alongside her colleague has been widely praised for its emphasis on diagnosis, treatment planning and professional collaboration. In 2017 Mary was selected as a subject matter expert to contribute to the rewrite of ASHA Practice Portal on Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders.

Financial: Mary Billings is the owner of Billings Speech Pathology Services. She serves as an IAOM Continuing Education instructor for which she received compensation. She also receives compensation for other lectures and continuing education formats.

Nonfinancial: Mary is a Board Member of the Oral Motor Institute. She is a member of ASHA, AAPMD, and AAPPSPA. She current serves as Convention Chair for the IAOM 50th Year conference 2021.
