TalkTools® Jaw Grading Bite Blocks™ promote symmetrical jaw strength, stability, and grading for clients with weak jaw musculature when evaluating speech sound production or feeding (i.e. reduced mobility, sliding, or jutting). Excellent for use with assessing and treating articulation, phonation, apraxia, dysarthria, OMDs (Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders) and TOTs (tethered oral tissues).

The material of the Bite Blocks is steady, durable, and good in quality. Love the instruction book.
The only downside was its shipping fee was quite high for an international order, almost the same price as the took, and it took some time to prepare and deliver.

Easy to use
I have never attended a formal Talk Tools training. I have watched a few videos over the years. This has been the tool I've used the most. It's straightforward and easy to implement in the school setting. And they are easy to wash!

Get rid of jaw sliding during speech!
This tool is a must have for any child with Down syndrome or any person that experiences jaw sliding during speech and or smiling. It comes with clear directions that you have to follow in order for the tool to work... so don’t go too fast! Many children have eliminated jaw sliding during speech and smiling due to this tool! Thank you Sara Rosenfeld Johnson for creating this life changing tool! Thank you TalkTools for continuing to provide great tools and directions so that you can use these with or without the direction of a therapist!
