Orders

How long will it take to receive my order?

While we would love to have delivery times like Amazon, we do not have 1000s of employees working in 100s of warehouses 24/7!

Our Warehouse Team works tirelessly to process orders within 2 business days of receipt from website (exception is for Holidays and when the offices are closed).

We make every effort to keep inventory levels current; however, there are circumstances beyond our control that result in our in a drop in our inventory and items being back-ordered. As soon as that item is back on the shelf, the Warehouse Team will ship it!

Transit time will depend on the shipping carrier option you choose at checkout. Typical transit time from our Charleston, South Carolina warehouse to the west coast of the United States is 5 to 7 business days.

Orders are packed within 1-2 business days of receipt from our website and shipping takes an additional 1-2 business days. Exceptions to this is for weekends and holidays.

What if there's an issue with my order?

We allow two weeks after receipt of order for you to contact us with any issues that you may have with your order. Please view our Return Policy page for more information.

I'm visiting the U.S. and staying in a hotel -- do you ship orders to hotels?

We strongly discourage shipping to hotels due to the potential for missed connections with the intended recipient.

Please note: If you choose to have your order delivered to a hotel, TalkTools will not be responsible for orders not being received. If the order is returned to us, you will be charged for the return shipping cost.

Where's my order?

Depending on the importance that you place on your packages, we recommend you use shippers that have a "Signature Required' to ensure person-to-person delivery, This is an additional cost borne by the customer; TalkTools is not responsible for shipments once picked up at the TalkTools facility.  TalkTools uses the Shipper-provided tracking number to review shipment status when necessary; for example, the USPS-managed tracking website is  https://www.usps.com/ 

International Orders

  • DHL Express Worldwide: Can take 3-4 business days for delivery
  • FedEx International Priority: Can take 3 business days for delivery
  • USPS International Priority Mail: Can take 4-8 weeks for delivery

For all International orders: The recipient is responsible for payment of applicable custom duties, taxes and fees.

I am ordering from outside the U.S. Do you have a regional TalkTools® distributor?

Does TalkTools Collect Value-Added Taxes for International Customers?

  • As of July 1st, 2021, the European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (UK) are making changes to tax regulations for eCommerce purchases made within the EU and for the UK. These changes include the elimination of minimum sales thresholds, updated value-added tax (VAT) rates, and a choice of how to remit taxes. Since VAT rates and accounting practices vary, TalkTools® is doing business as before, with each customer responsible for customs/fees upon receipt of the shipment in their respective country. Every customer should take time to understand how these changes impact their order(s).

  • Do you accept purchase orders?
    Yes, we accept purchase orders from United States customers only. Purchase orders are accepted from businesses, schools, clinics, hospitals & universities. Net 30 terms are available once approved.

  • Please note that our Shipping FAQs state that organizations that use Purchase Orders instead of credit card purchases must pay for shipping themselves. The free shipping for US orders over $99 is for those who pay upfront for products (credit card and checks).

    Purchase Orders have taken as long as six (6) months to settle payment with us, so we opt to obtain some compensation from those slower payees.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Personal checks and money orders are accepted when your order is mailed to our office.

How do I calculate shipping charges?

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are based on shipment weight and dimensions, as well as destination. Shipping charges are consistent with current USPS, UPS or FedEx rates.

What are tech/computer requirements to access the Training Site and my courses

  1. The TalkTools® Training Site (education.talktools.com) is a SECURE SITE with specific requirements to access the site and your courses
  2. It is the learner's responsibility to meet the tech requirements outlined our Getting You Tech-Ready for Your TalkTools®Course page
  3. TalkTools cannot be held responsible if the participant does not have these technical requirements tested and in place prior to starting their course
  4. TalkTools DOES NOT recommend using company-issued computers for your digital learning with us, as settings on these devices can be configured to block access to our Training Site

Cleaning Your Tools

How should I clean/disinfect my tools?

  • When using TalkTools® single patient use devices it is critical to clean and disinfect the tools between uses. The items should always be cleaned as soon as practical after each use. - Recommend Cleaning & Disinfection Instructions.
