Great for Teaching Straw Drinking!

I bought the Honey Bear to help my child transition from a bottle to a straw, and it has been very helpful. The squeezable design makes it easy to control the liquid flow, which encouraged my child to learn how to drink from a straw quickly. The handles are a nice addition, and the leak-proof lid is a plus.Keep it up Talktools!👍

Honey bear - wonderful tool

Our little 15 month old has some oral motor dysfunction that we’ve been working on. One thing we’ve been trying to introduce is drinking from a straw. We’ve tried many different cups (including itsy cup) with no success. But after using the honey bear, he learned how to drink from the straw by the second day! And we are noticing his oral function improve overall as he’s using the honey bear. We will try the itsy cup again soon. Definitely recommend this product especially if little one is having a hard time with suction/oral function.

TalkTools" Honey Bear

As an SLP, I recommend parents of toddlers and babies above the age of 8 months with sensory- motor as well as TOTs difficulties, to switch to the honey bear bottle with straw to improve overall functioning. I’m very pleased with the results and thankful for this amazing tool.

Honey Bear Straw Cup with Handles

I use this cup for feeding therapy to achieve tongue retraction and lip activation, as well as to teach increased intra oral suction. I love the handles that have been added! I will often refer parents of my patients to the website to order one for home!

Life Changing!

I keep saying this honey bear cup will have a place on my mantle one day. It was the only way to teach my baby how to drink from any bottle. The straw is really flexible and the handles are perfect.

The cup is genius

After struggling for months trying to get my baby into a straw cup a friend suggested I give this one a try. As a Canadian I was a little put off by the shipping costs, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Within 3 days of working with the honey bear cup my baby was drinking out of the straw on his own. I only wish I had known about it sooner. I would have saved myself so much aggravation.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!

My sons OT and SLP both recommended honey bear cups when he started refusing bottles and could not get the hang of any sippy cup, straw or open cup due to oral-motor delays—this “cup” did the trick! We love the honey bear!

Great tool for babies with a tongue tie

My baby was born with a tongue tie that we never got clipped as per our pediatricians recommendation. Breast feeding took months before it was comfortable for me and before my nipples stopped bleeding. I am a stay at home mom so I never tried bottles with him and always fed from the breast. 6 Months came around and I started baby led weaning with him with the introduction of a cup (no sippy cup no straw) he took to this okay, I always had to put very little water in the cup (like a teaspoon) otherwise baby would gag and choke on the water. Because of this I tried sippy cups and tried to introduce straw cups, I started this at nearly 6.5 months old and by 12 months he was still unable to drink from either. On Instagram I follow an account called solidstarts its my favorite because the woman who runs it does not get paid by companies to advertise and it’s based on what works, she is where I found this bottle. My baby was slipping out of his percentile because he didn’t want to drink so he wasn’t eating his full meals anymore because he would get thirty and stop eating. I received this bottle in the mail and tried it that day and by night he was drinking from it on his own! Back to eating and drinking regularly without my intervention. If your child is having any issue drinking or you just want them to drink from a straw I can’t recommend this cup enough! Read the directions entirely before you start to set yourself up for success and I guarantee you your child will learn.

Amazing!

This cup was incredible for teaching my son to drink from a straw. He was having trouble figuring it out with regular straw cups, but got the hang of it within the first few sips from this cup! I would recommend to any new mom!

Awesome

Love these cups, even for kiddos who don't have special needs. My son lives his. I like that it's easy to clean and not bulky. I can give my son any type of beverage and not worry about spills so much.
