The Bitsy™ Bundle is a comprehensive silicone feeding set designed to grow with children aged 12 months and up as they advance along the developmental progression of self-feeding. Inspired by TalkTools® founder Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson and tested by speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist teams, the bundle provides age-appropriate tools that support mealtime independence in all children, including those with sensory, physical, or developmental differences.

Therapy Goals

  • Build self-feeding independence through age-appropriate plate and utensil design suited to children 12 months and older.
  • Develop lip closure and oral motor awareness through sensory ruffles on the Bitsy Spoon and Spork.
  • Strengthen grasp patterns and hand-to-mouth coordination using ergonomic baby-led feeding handles.
  • Encourage food exploration and acceptance across compartmentalized plate sections that accommodate selective eaters.
  • Promote sensory tolerance and oral awareness through purposeful tactile utensil and plate features.
  • Four-compartment plate plus dipping center: accommodates selective eaters while encouraging food exploration; the star section provides positive feeding reinforcement.
  • Measurement lines and curved scooping walls: help with portioning and successful utensil use.
  • Ridge around the edge: helps fold food onto a utensil and prevent spills.
  • Strong suction base: helps keep the plate from being thrown or dropped during self-feeding.
  • Circular plate design: allows rotation for easier access to each compartment, with the TalkTools mascot as an orientation guide.
  • Sensory ruffles on the spoon and spork: provide tactile feedback that encourages active lip closure during eating.
