TalkTools® Sensi® Wee Chewy Tip | Pediatric Oral Motor Chewing Tool

TalkTools® Sensi® Wee Chewy Tip

The TalkTools® Sensi® Wee Chewy Tip is a smaller-diameter chewy tip designed for the Sensi handle, providing controlled biting and chewing resistance for clients with smaller oral cavities such as infants, toddlers, or individuals with anatomical considerations requiring reduced tip size. It delivers vibrotactile input alongside graded jaw and lateral chewing practice. For clinical training on chewy programs, see TalkTools OPT courses.

Therapy Goals

  • Provide graded biting and chewing resistance scaled to smaller oral cavity dimensions
  • Build lateral jaw movement and molar chewing patterns in pediatric or anatomically small clients
  • Deliver vibrotactile feedback to lateral oral structures during chewing-based therapy tasks
  • Support pre-feeding chewing development in early intervention and infant feeding programs
  • Smaller diameter accommodates pediatric clients and those with reduced mouth opening
  • Chewy format targets lateral jaw movements and molar chewing development
  • Vibration from the Sensi handle adds a sensory component to chewing-resistance training
  • Compatible with all Sensi handles via the quarter-turn attachment
  • BPA-free, FDA-compliant, latex-free materials safe for intraoral use
  • Infants, toddlers, and young children in early intervention feeding programs
  • Clients with reduced mouth opening or smaller oral cavities requiring a scaled-down tip
  • SLPs and OTs implementing lateral chewing and molar chewing development goals
  • Feeding therapists addressing pre-chewing and rotary chewing in pediatric populations
  • Clients with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, or low muscle tone affecting jaw function
  • 1 x Sensi® Wee Chewy Tip
Material TPE; BPA-free, latex-free, lead-free, phthalates-free
Handle compatibility Fits all TalkTools® Sensi® handles via quarter-turn attachment
Safety and compliance FDA-compliant; BPA-free, latex-free, lead-free, phthalates-free
