TalkTools® Sensi® Feeding Kit

TalkTools® Sensi® Feeding Kit

The TalkTools Sensi® Feeding Kit is a curated set of spoon-shaped and functional feeding tips for the Sensi® vibrating oral tool, purpose-built for feeding therapy. Designed to support therapists working on spoon acceptance, oral loading, and utensil-based feeding skills, this kit focuses specifically on the tip shapes that address feeding-related oral motor objectives across a range of client abilities.

Therapy Goals

  • Support spoon acceptance and oral loading through graduated tip introduction during feeding sessions
  • Facilitate lip closure and graded jaw movement during spoon feeding using varied spoon tip profiles
  • Provide controlled vibrotactile input to the lips and tongue to improve sensory readiness for food intake
  • Promote tongue protrusion, retraction, and lateralization needed for safe bolus management
  • Support transitions from caregiver-led to semi-independent spoon feeding
  • Address oral hypersensitivity that interferes with food acceptance and utensil tolerance
  • Focused tip selection: seven spoon and functional feeding tips designed specifically for feeding therapy contexts
  • Textured and smooth tip options allow therapists to progress clients along a sensory hierarchy
  • Vibration delivered through each tip enhances sensory input during feeding skill-building activities
  • Pairs seamlessly with the full TalkTools Sensi® tip library for expanded clinical flexibility
  • Compact kit ideal for feeding-focused therapists who need spoon tip variety without a full essentials set
  • Durable, food-safe materials appropriate for use during actual feeding sessions
  • Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and feeding therapists focusing on spoon feeding transitions
  • Occupational therapists (OTs) working on oral motor function and self-feeding development
  • Clients with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorders, or feeding difficulties related to oral defensiveness
  • Children with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or neurological differences affecting feeding
