TalkTools® Sensi®: Your Essential Tool for Oral & Feeding Development
The TalkTools® Sensi® is designed to promote sensory awareness while supporting oral motor and feeding development. It’s your go-to device for mouth and facial muscle exercises — an ideal addition to Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
Why You’ll Love It
Comfortable silicone grip — easy to hold for both adults and children
Standard AAA battery powered — includes one battery to get you started
Fast, frustration-free tip changes — swap tips quickly; fully compatible with legacy TalkTools tips
One-button control — multiple speeds and vibration patterns, plus smart memory that recalls your last setting
Who It Helps
Infants & Toddlers (0–3) Ideal for feeding challenges, sensory concerns, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays.
Children (3–12) Supports treatment for apraxia, lisps, articulation disorders, autism, sensory processing issues, picky eating, drooling, and attention challenges.
Teens & Adults (13+) May be used for stroke recovery, dysarthria, facial muscle weakness, swallowing difficulties, and jaw or tongue pattern disorders.
Customize Your Therapy Experience
With over 20 interchangeable Sensi tips available, you can mix and match options to target different sensory and therapeutic needs—including chewy tips, spoons, tongue depressors, jaw tips, textured rounds, and more.
The Sensi® base is compatible with new Sensi® tips and legacy TalkTools® chewy tips. Sensi® kits also include a threaded adapter that works with many non-TalkTools® tips; always confirm a secure fit and follow all safety instructions before use.
What’s Inside the Box
Sensi® tool
Universal adaptor (for non-TalkTools®)
Blue chewy tip
Reusable storage pouch
Note: The Sensi® is widely used by speech therapists and other professionals to support mouth coordination, oral muscle engagement, and sensory regulation as part of a broader therapy plan. Always consult your healthcare or therapy provider for individual recommendations.
The TalkTools Sensi is super easy to use, and I love the adjustable memory vibration settings Also, you can use a regular AAA battery compared to the zvibe which is a custom battery and expensive. Zvibe tips work perfectly with the TalkTools Sensi so you don't have to get rid of old tips. Personally, I prefer the Sensi Tips and am very excited to try the new Smiley Tip.

preferred to z-vibe
I am a mom (not therapist) and prefer this to the zvibe for three reasons:
1) regular batteries are more cost effective
2) having a tip on each end is much more efficient during mealtimes and therapy. Bonus that it can use both talk tools (snap on) and ark (twist on) tips.
3) four varying levels of vibration keep baby interested in the tool
note - my Sensi did start to malfunction after a month or two, BUT the company sent a new one and had good customer service
