Amy Duffner-Johnson, M.S., PT

Amy attained her degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, in 1993. From the outset of her professional career, Amy has specialized in Pediatric Physical Therapy. She began at St. Charles Hospital & Rehabilitation Center in Port Jefferson, NY, treating a large population of neurodevelopmentally challenged children ages birth through 21 years.

Amy relocated to Southern California in 1996 and continued her pediatric specialty by working at CCS and later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. At Cedars she was able to focus her specialized skills in Early Intervention for newborns, high risk infants, NICU/PICU babies, developmentally challenged toddlers, and babies with torticollis/plagiocephaly.

Amy helped found IT4K with Laura Walls in 2000 and has been happily working with this experienced multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialties in private practice ever since. In 2015, Amy developed a parent training class called Babies in Training, designed to facilitate normal development in all infants ages zero to fifteen months.
