She is a certified  Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience evaluating and treating children with  speech, language, feeding, oral motor, and myofunctional disorders. Carissa specializes in  pediatric feeding therapy, oral motor intervention, early language development, and oral resting  posture. She is passionate about educating families and professionals on functional, play-based  approaches that support communication, feeding, and overall oral function.
