Heidi Miller, MS, CCC-SLP, COM is a Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Orofacial Myologist and has been a practicing clinician for over 20 years. Though Heidi has worked in a multitude of settings, including private clinics, hospitals and schools, she found her home in her own practice HMS & Associates with two clinics located in Florham Park & Park Ridge New Jersey. Heidi enjoys treating a variety of Speech Disorders, particuliarly Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Feeding therapy has been a strong passion of Heidi’s since early in her career. Heidi's training in OMD's allows her to treat the pediatric feeding disorders population through an additional lens. Most recently, Heidi published the HMS Feeding Protocol for Expanding Repetoire of Picky Eaters and Children with ARFID. It is a guide to educate SLP’s and OT’s on how to effectively treat picky eaters and children with oral phase dysphagia by creating a safe environment for them to confidently learn to eat new foods. Heidi is married with three children, which helps her understand a parent’s perspective.
