One such opportunity was our Webinar Program, launched in 2017. Since then, we have launched 75 new courses, and 3,214 learners have benefited from these varied, relevant and applicable topics -- PLUS, we have developed 12 brand-new TalkTools eLearning courses from these webinars!
- In 2020, as the pandemic turned the world upside down, we launched our Conference Program with amazing results: in the last year and a half, we have trained over 1600 professionals and offered 60 CEUs under this initiative.
- A common thread in the feedback from conference participants has been the positive impact of learning from the interdisciplinary team of experts we assembled for our conferences -- here are a few comments:
"TalkTools conference provided a variety of applicable knowledge in many areas. Easy and convenient to attend. Great resources provided, handouts etc that I can supply to my patient's parents"
"the conference was amazing to have so many experts together at a conference. It was applicable to my practice and will definitely improve my evaluation and treatment"
"To have content areas from so many disciplines come together to present what a full team looks like for good care was amazing and inspiring"
"I wish this information had been available at the start of my career. The need for other professionals to support and perhaps co-treat our clients with speech and feeding disorders was paramount. "
"I truly enjoyed this experience. It was very holistic, looking at the whole child and the whole family experience. I feel inspired and ready to tackle new challenges. I will definitely be signing up to be Talk Tools trained."
"I thoroughly enjoyed this convenient and unique method of learning from a variety of experts within the field of speech/language therapy. I also found it incredibly valuable to learn from presenters working in other relevant professions."
