The TalkTools Apraxia Program is a structured speech therapy program designed to transition clients with motor planning deficits from Oral Placement Therapy activities into functional speech production. Developed by TalkTools Instructor and apraxia expert Renee Roy Hill, MS, CCC-SLP, the program uses three sets of tactile cueing tools to help clients feel precise articulator placement for targeted speech sounds, delivering a multisensory approach to apraxia treatment.

Finally found the right tools to use in my class!
Before I do the review, I would like to inform you in advance that I am not a familiar English speaker. Hi, I am a Speech Language pathologist(SLP) living in South Korea. I am teaching a 36-month-old child. The child is in a state of decline in cognitive and motor skills enough to immediately diagnose a severe intellectual disability in a university hospital. She showed difficulty in making her lips curled up, so she couldn't produce a speech sound corresponding to /o/, /u/ in English. I offered prompt with my hands as much as possible, but without prompt she would not try to make her mouth round herself. That was my biggest concern. Meanwhile, I came across the tools of 'TalkTools' on SNS and YouTube. I immediately thought, 'That's it!' and I was able to purchase it through an Internet site. I didn't receive it right away because Korea is far away, but it arrived much faster than I expected. (I want to thank you for that.) The tools that arrived were cleaned clean and used on the day of the child's class. At first, he refused to touch the unfamiliar touch, but he gradually adapted it, and now he is waiting well without feeling rejected. The best part is that the child began to mouth himself. Of course, it is difficult without tools yet, but I think it will get better gradually. I think the long post was a bit boring, but I leave this review because I can't hide my real joy. I want everyone to have this pleasant experience.
