TalkTools® Jiggler® Combo – Dragon & Frog
TalkTools® Jiggler® Combo – Dragon & Frog
The TalkTools® Jiggler® Combo includes both the Dragon and Frog Jigglers, two vibrating oral motor tools designed to increase sensory awareness in the jaw and lip muscles, reduce fixing or tightening in the muscles of the jaw, and support targeted oral placement therapy goals. Together, these two tools provide a complementary set of sensory experiences that address a broad range of pre-feeding, feeding, and speech objectives.
Therapy Goals
Increase sensory awareness in the jaw and lip muscles
Improve lip rounding and tongue retraction to support straw drinking, bubble blowing, round mouth horn activities, and targeted speech sounds
Reduce fixing in the jaw prior to muscle-based exercises, feeding, and speech activities
Increase sensory readiness using both textured and smooth surfaces depending on client needs
Support tonic bite release and satisfy the need for TMJ stimulation in some cases
Two complementary Jigglers in one purchase: textured Dragon and smooth Frog address different sensory needs and clinical goals
Vibration delivered to the jaw and lip muscles reduces fixing and increases sensory readiness before exercises
Dragon's textured surface provides additional proprioceptive input for clients who need heightened sensory stimulation
Frog's smooth surface is ideal for introductory desensitization and clients with oral hypersensitivity
Suitable for use within Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) hierarchies and feeding therapy protocols
Used by therapists globally as part of structured oral motor and feeding intervention
Clients with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or conditions involving jaw or lip muscle tension
Clients working on specific speech sounds involving lip rounding and protrusion (/oo/, /oh/, /w/, /r/, /sh/, /ch/)
Individuals with TMJ hypersensitivity or negative oral habits
