TalkTools’ original Spinner and Toothies is an excellent tool for diagnosing sensory-motor deficits, promoting awareness of the oral cavity, and reducing "fixing." It is commonly used by TalkTools therapists as a sensory activity prior to therapy when clients don’t tolerate tools in their mouth yet.
As a diagnostic tool, it can reveal Hypersensitivity, Hyposensitivity and Tactile Defensiveness (among others), conditions that may interfere with oral placement, feeding and speech therapy. As a therapy tool, it can assist in improving responsiveness to sensory information on and within the oral cavity.

Includes 1 Spinnner, 20 Toothies and TalkTools original instruction booklet
The TalkTools® Spinner™ and Toothies™ set has become a favorite in our clinic! The Spinner™ adds a playful, engaging element to therapy sessions, keeping kids interested while we work on desensitization and oral awareness. The Toothies™ are perfect for introducing texture and encouraging proper brushing and gum stimulation. They're soft enough for sensitive mouths, but effective enough to make a real difference in oral motor routines. We love that the pack comes with 20 Toothies—it’s hygienic and easy to use across sessions or send home with families. Highly recommended for any oral motor program!

Spinners & toothies
The spinners and toothies have worked great with a little peanut butter on the toothie, positioned on the palate, elevation of the tongue to the palate, then swallowing! The results - no peanut butter on the toothie post swallowing! And the toothie is compressed due to the tongue’s elevation and swallowing action. This has ONLY been used with older clients with no peanut allergies!
