This course provides speech-language pathologists with a practical foundation in neurodiversity-affirming practice, what it means, why it matters and how it changes the way teams support clients across settings and communication partners.

Participants will be able to: 

  • Define neurodiversity-affirming care principles.
  • Reframe deficit-based language with affirming, strengths-based language.
  • Apply practical strategies to collaborate across domains.
