Event Information

Course Description

As a feeding therapist, you know that you need to work on a team and collaborate with other professionals, but how do you do this? Where do you start? Who do you reach out to? It is not an easy task trying to navigate collaboration with doctors and other professionals, but it is necessary for the best outcomes.

During this presentation, you will learn how to identify the people who need to be on an infant or young child’s feeding team, how to reach out to doctors, dentists, and other professionals to start a professional relationship, how to maintain collaboration with them, and how to take on the role as a team leader.

Learning Outcomes

The participant should be able to:

  1. Identify team members
  2. Develop a plan for outreach
  3. Maintain collaboration with team members
