There is growing interest in the use of homemade blended food for tube feeding as an alternative or adjunct to standard tube feeding formula. Research suggests that there are significant potential benefits for tube fed children such as better tolerance and faster transitions to oral diets.

This session is geared towards all clinicians who work with tube fed children. Attendees will learn about this emerging trend in tube feeding and how blended food may play a role in supporting transitions to oral diets.
