TalkTools® Introduction to Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) Kit
This introductory kit gives clinicians a practical starting point for implementing Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) techniques. The program addresses oral-motor issues that impact children's and adult clients' ability to speak, eat, and drink independently. - Wash oral-motor tools (Horn Kit, Straw Kit, Toothies, and Bite Blocks) by hand with warm water and mild soap before first use and after each session
- Do not place oral tools in the dishwasher
- Allow all tools to air dry fully before returning them to the carrying case
- Keep books dry and store the case in a clean, dry location
- Inspect all tools before each use and discard any item showing wear, cracks, or discoloration
