Course Description

TalkTools® Instructor and pediatric feeding expert, Lori Overland, MS, CCC-SLP, C/NDT, CLC FOM, is the author of this seminal feeding course. Lori bridges the gap between anatomy and function, providing clinicians with a deep understanding of the sensory-motor systems involved in feeding.

The course focuses on how structure impacts function in the orofacial region and the profound effect the sensory system has on feeding successfulness. Lori provides clear-cut task analyses for assessing:

Breast & Bottle Feeding
Spoon Feeding
Straw Drinking
Cup Drinking

Participants will learn evidence-based techniques developed and refined by Lori throughout her practice, illustrated through detailed case studies and developmental skill analysis.
