Lori L. Overland, MS CCC-SLP, C/NDT, CLC, FOM, is a licensed speech-language pathologist specializing in oral sensory-motor and feeding therapy. She holds degrees from Hofstra University and Adelphia University and is the owner of Alphabet Soup, a practice dedicated to infant, toddler, and preschool feeding and oral placement therapy.

Lori's clinical expertise includes oral sensory-motor therapy, oral placement therapy, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and infant and pediatric feeding disorders. She is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (C/NDT), is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and holds the Fellow of Orofacial Myology (FOM) designation. She is a member of ASHA, CSHA, LISHA, NYSSLHA, and IAOM, and serves as a board member of the Oral Motor Institute.

Lori is the co-author (with Robyn Merkel-Walsh) of Functional Assessment and Remediation of TOTs (Tethered Oral Tissues) and A Sensory-Motor Approach to Feeding. She has authored several research articles including "A Sensory-Motor Approach to Feeding," "Self-Limited Diets in Children with a Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders," and "Food for Thought."
