How do I attend the conference?

Attending Live In-Person Conference:

  1. Register on the event product page by Day 1 of the conference (October 26)
  2. Join us in-person at the Hilton Garden Inn South Strip  October 26-28, 2023

Attending On-Demand Conference:

  1. Register on the event product page
  2. Complete all sessions in the learner portal 

*Discounts for COMBO will be applied during checkout, after you have added both in-person and on-demand options to your cart

How do I receive the combo registration discount? 

If you've already purchased an In-Person registration:

If you're looking to purchase both In-Person and On-Demand at the same time:

  1. Go to the in-person event product page and on-demand event product page
  2. Select the In-Person offering you wish to purchase from the drop down menu
  3. Fill out the attendee information and Click Add to Cart
  4. Select the On-Demand option from the drop down menu
  5. Click Add to Cart
  6. Discounts will automatically be applied in your cart!

Are the on-demand sessions the same as the in-person sessions?

No, the on-demand sessions are completely different from the in-person sessions!

We have a couple of speakers that are presenting for both, but will have different sessions for each experience.

Will food be provided during the in-person conference?

We will post the complete schedule soon - there will be light breakfast provided each morning

What are the tech requirements (computer, software, internet) for participants?

In-person:

No tech requirements needed to attend the conference. However, to complete the necessary CEU survey and quizzes, please review our tech requirements here.

On-Demand:

Is my TalkTools.com account (that I used to purchase my conference seat) the same as my Conference Account?

  • Nope -- you'll have another account to access the conference!
  • Participants have TWO accounts:
  • TalkTools.com Account = the account you set up to PURCHASE a conference seat
  • Conference Account = the account you use to access the conference sessions
  • If you have NOT purchased any TalkTools courses previously, you will need to confirm your Conference Account -- follow the steps in this How-To Video - Accessing Your Conference Package to walk you through.
  • NOTE: Your Conference Account was set up using the email address used to purchase your seat. If you need to update your email address, please contact the TalkTools Team at: continuingeducation@talktools.com
  • Once you've purchased your seat, a SECOND account will be set up for you.

Are there quizzes associated with the sessions?

  1. The CEU Survey quiz at the very end of the course is required to complete the conference and receive CEU credit.

Will I be able to ask the speaker questions?

In-Person:

  1. During the Q&A, speaker will answer questions as time allows
  2. There will be a private Conference Forum Page on Facebook for questions on any of the sessions -- speakers will be answering during the Q&A forum during the conference and will answer questions posted on the the Facebook Page after the conference.

On-Demand:

  1. There will be a few Facebook live events with some of the on-demand speakers, as well as a Facebook page for any questions you may have regarding the sessions

Will presentation handouts be available for the sessions?

Any associated handouts or resource materials speakers have provided for their presentations will be on each of their Session Page -- there is a section marked "Resources" at the bottom.

  2. Download to your computer
