Vanessa Anderson-Smith, MA, CCC-SLP, COM®, is a speech-language pathologist and Certified Orofacial Myologist based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She holds a BA from Augustana University and an MA from the University of South Dakota, and is the owner of Anderson-Smith Speech Therapy.
Vanessa specializes in sensory integration, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, reflex integration, orofacial myology, and infant and pediatric feeding. She is trained in PROMPT (Bridging level) and the SOS Approach to Feeding, and recently completed her certification coursework through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM).
As a TalkTools® presenter, Vanessa brings her clinical expertise to continuing education, with courses spanning jaw mechanics, tethered oral tissues, infant feeding, and practical feeding strategies for SLPs working across the age span.
