Diagnosing childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) can be challenging for many clinicians for a variety of reasons, including minimal training, the relatively low incidence of the disorder, and lack of reliable resources. In this session, the most up-to-date and evidence-based characteristics of CAS and protocols to diagnose CAS will be discussed. Video and audio recordings of children will be reviewed. Resources to learn more will be provided.
