In MyoTools 101 the foundation for improved airway health, sleep, oral resting posture,  feeding and speech was learned with the MYOScreener tools for assessment and beginners were trained to start recognizing orofacial myofunctional students and patients on their own caseloads.

In MyoTools 102, we will take a deeper dive into the form function balance and participants will  learn how to start incorporating strategies into therapeutic practice. With Robyn’s extensive background in feeding, oral placement and orofacial myofunctional therapy, she has a unique approach to targeting the four MYO-Domains of Airway, Structure, Feeding and Speech across the lifespan. Learn techniques that you can immediately use in your practice such as massage to support open nasal passageways,  scent training for nasal breathing, the Sensi Tool for oral placement targets,  mastication strategies , bolus collection  and more. Each domain will be supported by internal and external evidence.

NOTE: MyoTools 101 is not a requirement but is recommended. Therapists may take these courses in any order or as a compliment to other courses in orofacial myology. This course focuses on specific MYO techniques and is therefore recommended for speech-language pathologists and registered dental hygienists, unless outside the USA where other professionals practice OMT.
