Event Information
Course Description | This second session in the clinical mentoring series continues to build participants’ confidence and professional judgment through guided mentorship and shared clinical experience. The session begins with an expanded discussion of mentorship in speech-language pathology, focusing on how reflective dialogue, vulnerability, and shared problem-solving support long-term clinical growth. The majority of the session will center on a real-world client scenario submitted by a participant. Through mentor-guided discussion, the group will collaboratively analyze clinical information, identify decision points, and explore therapeutic options. Emphasis will be placed on the process of clinical reasoning rather than outcomes, reinforcing mentorship as a tool for navigating uncertainty and complexity in everyday practice.
