Course Description | This course explores the relationship between certain types of dysphagia and/or persistent coughing and myofascial structures of the anterior neck. Idiopathic dysphagia and/or persistent coughing can arise as a result of dysfunction in the myofascial structures of the anterior neck far more often than most clinicians realize.
Learning Outcomes | Participants will be able to:
- Understand basic swallowing review
- Discuss the latest fascial research
- Differentiate dysphagia vs. persistent coughing
- Apply simple, fast therapy techniques that can alleviate idiopathic dysphagia and/or persistent coughing in the clinical setting
