Course Description

Speech Language pathologists face the challenges of eliciting /r/, /l/, /s/,/th/, /f/. Why are these sounds so difficult to articulate for many kiddos? Participants will be provided resource materials to add to their OPT toolbox.

Upon course completion, participants will be able to:
1. Readily identify articulation issues associated with /r/, /l/, /s/, /th/, /f/
2. Apply 3 techniques to correct articulation issues with these sounds
3. Communicate carryover strategies to parents and the client's therapy team for long-term success
